woo-hoo! amazing staff and eats!

rad option friendly service
eating the evening meal was totally a first, and wow, the kids' menu had rad options and adult meals too. aarc, our server, was super personable, like, for real. i loved the colouring pencils for the kids. we got everything we asked for fast and with a smile.
i booked a family room with a bath for, like, health reasons, but water came through the ceiling at 11:30pm. they moved us to a standard room for two with no bath. offering just 25% discount? not cool!
Location

My room had a comfortable king bed and a well-lit desk. The closet had ample space, and the in-room safe was easy to use. I found blackout curtains very effective for a good night's sleep (I really needed it!).

some issues

loud music rattling air conditioning
the breakfast was fine. it offered a reasonable selection of items.
i found the room to be quite noisy because of nearby bars. loud music played late into the night, difficult to sleep before midnight. the air conditioning unit rattled loudly so i had to turn it off, resulting in an uncomfortably warm room, so i couldn't get a good night's sleep.

filthy carpets bathroom sink
Breakfast had a decent selection and refills were regular.
The room carpets were filthy. A cracked bathroom sink and traffic noise added to the disappointment. The receptionist stated I received an upgrade, however, it was a room with a bath. This I cannot use due to a medical condition. This resulted in moving rooms and shifting all luggage.
